A Leicester-based digital design and software development company has been snapped up by the Unusual Group.

Nine Dot Media has been absorbed by Boxed Red Marketing in Cheshire, which has also recently joined the Unusual Group.

Nine Dot Media and its team members will migrate into Boxed Red, which is a full-service marketing agency specialising in marketing strategy, website development, branding and digital innovation.

Boxed Red Marketing has more than 13 years of experience in the industry and has worked with brands such as Barratt Homes, Dr. Schar, Kids Planet and STA Travel.

Luke Tobin, chief executive of the Unusual Group, said: “Nine Dot Media is a tight-knit team of designers, developers and project managers.

“It’s an absolute pleasure to witness our unique collection of talented, experienced, symbiotic agencies working together to create and deliver beautiful, highly effective brand strategies and digital experiences.”

Ruth Gresty, managing director at Boxed Red, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome the team from Nine Dot Media to Boxed Red and to be taking over support and ownership of the client base.

“It’s a brilliant opportunity for us to build on what we’re doing and provide first class marketing solutions for our clients.”
